Safe House

Customer: Censitel as

Norautron Solutions has developed a Safe House system for Censitel as. This is an alarm system combined with an AMR (Automatic Meter Reading of energy consumption).

Details of the Safe House system:
- 7 inch VGA touch display.
- Battery surveillance.
- Power consumption info.
- USB stick, RF 868 MHz (SAM7S64)
- Wireless data transfer using Chipcon CC1100 (RF 868 MHz).
- Atmel ARM9.
- Embedded Linux with QTopia core (from Trolltech).
- Glass breakage sensor (Patented).
- Open / close detection.
- Tamper detection.
- Water leakage detector and water shut-off.
- Fire detectors.

The system alarms and messages are sent by e-mail and SMS to the addresses programmed by the user. The Safe House central can receive and display small messages from the Energy Company.



Sensonor

Norautron Solutions is Sensonor’s main supplier of custom test equipment for their airbag, rollover and tire pressure sensors. We have built small parts to their test systems and complete test setups.

Technologies used:
- Atmel AVR microcontroller / AVR GCC
- Microchip PIC microcontroller / Hi-Tech with MS visual studio
- Altera FPGA / Quartus II
- LabWindows.



Transportation

Norautron Solutions has designed and developed a system to record vibrations on high speed train. (>210 km/t) This is used to calculate the “Riding Comfort Index”. It is using a 3 axis accelerometer, filters the data and transmits them to the train’s main PLS via Ethernet.

Technologies used:
- Embedded PC-104.
- 3 axis accelerometer.
- Embedded Windows with LabWiew.



Tracking unit

Norautron Solutions has developed a tracking unit for recovery of stolen cars, boats and other equipment.

Technologies used:
- Atmel AVR microcontroller / AVR GCC.
- Siemens XT-55 GSM (GPRS) / GPS unit.
- Texas / Chipcon CC1020 RF unit (for remote control and direction finding).
- 4 years battery life.
